Background
Originally from Adelaide, Issy developed a love for all things sport—gymnastics, basketball, athletics, netball, and Aussie Rules Football. Her bachelor’s studies sparked an affinity for high-performance sport and strength & conditioning. After working in medical reception and as a group fitness coach, she journeyed the world before making Melbourne her home in 2023.
Completing her Master of Physiotherapy in June 2025, she now channels her athletic experience and academic training into her role as a sports trainer for Heatherton Football Club (SFNL), guiding athletes through prevention, acute care, and recovery
Issy is committed to empowering her clients, athletes and non-athletes alike, through movement. She delivers tailored rehabilitation plans that blend manual therapy, clinical exercise, and education in a holistic, evidence-informed manner. Her keen interest lies in managing overuse injuries and ankle sprains, ensuring clients safely return to the activities they love
A keen long-distance runner, footy player, and reader, Issy is also an avid foodie who enjoys exploring Melbourne’s vibrant café and restaurant scene
