Background
Coming from Ireland, Yuliya earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin. She honed her skills in a diverse range of musculoskeletal conditions at a clinic in Ireland, mastering the art of manual therapy and dry needling. Her journey continued to a hospital, where she gained invaluable experience in post-operative and intensive car settings. Yuliya completed rotations treating a spectrum of cases, including stroke, cardio-respiratory issues, cystic fibrosis, elderly care, and palliative care, providing her with a profound understanding of human physiology and complex patient needs,
Through extensive experience with spinal patients Yuliya has gained insight into how to assess and treat all ages with both acute and chronic neck and back pain and lead them through all phases of recovery to optimise function. She also has a keen interest in sport injury management and prevention and enjoys working with all levels of athletes.
Yuliya advocates for healthy ageing and specialises in bone health and arthritis. She takes pride in guiding her aged care patients through whatever their issues may be whether it is post-operative, chronic pain or balance and falls issues to ensure the highest satisfaction and quality of life outcomes.
Yuliya advocates for a holistic treatment approach, emphasizing active listening to patients’ concerns and goals. Collaboratively, she works towards achieving these goals through manual therapy, dry needling, exercise and education and, in the long run, empowers individuals to take control of their health issues.
Outside of her professional life, Yuliya can be found exploring new beaches and hiking trails. Her diverse interest include aerial silks, calisthenics, strength and conditioning, and dancing. Whether gracefully soaring through the air or swimming with the sharks, Yuliya will always be found with a smile and can-do attitude!
