MPPFG has Re-Opened for treatment services under the Vic. Govt. COVID Lockdown guidelines this morning, Wed. 21st July. 9am.
Following the attendance of a COVID positive individual on Thurs.15th July, MPPFG has had to close temporarily under Vic. Govt. Health Dept. protocols. We were informed of this exposure on Sun.18th July.
We are pleased to announce that to date all staff have returned negative tests. Despite returning negative tests some MPPFG staff will have to isolate and quarantine for 14 days. Staff not implicated in the exposure are permitted to return to treating patients from Wed.21st July. As a result MPPFG will not be able to offer as many appointments as usual. Staff affected by the 14 day quarantine period will return to full capacity on Fri.30th July. Patients will be contacted over the coming days by reception/therapy staff.
A Deep Clean was performed on Sunday 18th and notification that authorisation to re-open was received on Tues. 20th July.
