COVID-19 Update: Important Changes to Exercise Physiology, Myotherapy, and Dietetics

Based on recent government advice regarding the new Stage 4 restrictions, we would like to provide updates about a number of our services.

Physiotherapy bookings will continue in their current form, with online Telehealth appointments and face-to-face bookings available for those who require hands on treatment.

Exercise Physiology
Due to Stage 4 restrictions, most face-to-face Exercise Physiology services will temporarily be moving online. Online Telehealth appointments will be available to all EPC and private paying clients. If you would rather face-to-face appointments, bookings will be taken for when these restrictions lift.

From Monday, August 17, Clinical Exercise group sessions are being paused. During this time, a very limited number of 1:1 face-to-face clinical exercise classes will be offered to some clients who are assessed as requiring face-to-face treatment.

An ‘at home’ circuit class via Zoom is planned. Call reception on (03) 9534 0611 to find out more information.

During this time, some Myotherapy appointments will be made available to clients requiring regular treatment for pain, injury, or ongoing issues. General massage appointments for non-referred clients will be paused until these restrictions are lifted.

From Monday, August 17, all Dietetics appointments will temporarily be moving to online Telehealth bookings. This is to ensure compliance with new government directives. Please note: use of web camera is not required, and clients can choose to turn their camera off and use audio only.

We appreciate your understanding during these difficult times. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact reception by calling (03) 9534 0611.
