About Matty
Originally from Ireland, Matty brings a unique blend of expertise in sports and healthcare to our team. After completing studies in Health Science and Physiology, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. With experience spanning multiple healthcare systems, Matty has developed a well-rounded skill set that combines evidence-based care with a patient-focused approach.
Matty’s career began in the NHS and private healthcare settings in England, where he gained extensive experience in diverse areas including cardiorespiratory care, neurological rehabilitation, acute trauma & orthopaedics, and intensive care. As a Senior Physiotherapist in the English NHS, he honed his expertise in musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedics / post-operative rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation and high-performance gym environments. He has also been actively involved in peer mentoring and student teaching, further showcasing his dedication to professional development within physiotherapy.
