Fiona Jacobs: Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates Therapist

  • APA Physiotherapist, member os Sports Physiotherapy Australia Specialist Group
  • Board member of Sports Medicine Australia
  • Graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2004 with Honours. Currently studying a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy.
  • Previously worked at Monash Medical Centre, gaining a specific interest in the treatment of paediatrics – babies through to adolescents
  • Senior Physiotherapist for St Kevin’s Old Boys Football Club (VAFA) 2009 - current.
  • Physiotherapist at the VIS High Performance Centre, treating the female gymnasts
  • Fiona has worked with the Victorian Trampoling Team, the Victorian Womens Softball Team, the Junior Victorian Girls Hockey Team, Old Melbournians Football Club (06-07) and Powerhouse Football Club (05), and previously assisted in the treatment of Melbourne Football Club Players as their Pilates Therapist.
  • Fiona has additional qualifications in Aquatic Physiotherapy (Hydrotherapy) and provides sessions at the St Kilda Sea Baths
  • Fiona also has qualifications in Dry Needling and Clinical Pilates, and works part time at our associated Pilates Studio at Melbourne Pilates and Fitness Group
  • Special interest areas: Sports injury rehabilitation, neck, back and pelvis injury and stabilisation (pilates), aquatic physiotherapy.  Fiona also has experience in paediatrics and can assess and treat developmental concerns, sports injuries and postural problems.
